SILENCING FREE INFORMATION IN THE FREE TERRITORY OF TRIESTE

Paolo G. Parovel during a press conference.

They called the head of Trieste’s most courageous, independent journalist of Trieste, Paolo G. Parovel. They reported him to the journalist’s professional association, seeking to make an examples of him: maybe his very removal from the association.

This is the presentation ticket of movement “Territorio Libero 3” (Cubed Free Territory), also TL3. TL3 is a gang of fake supporters of Trieste’s independence, and its ally is organization Triest “NGO”.

What did they accuse Mr. Parovel of? Of collaborating with Slovenia’s secret services. This is how they tried to get rid of a problematic person, one that cannot be controlled. And they tried to silence newspapers La Voce di Trieste and Trieste Libera News (Free Trieste’s own), because Mr. Parovel is their director

La Voce di Trieste is the only newspaper that denounces Trieste’s corruption. With its investigations, it really destabilizes the establishment. In Trieste, even more than in Italy, the “establishment” is a network of corruption, extended enough to involve organized crime, and criminal cartels hide behind white collars.

Since long, this corrupt network attempts to take hold of the Trieste’s Free Port in breach of international and even Italian law.

Turning Trieste’s port in some Balkan Montecarlo, removing from State property the port areas and eliminating its free zones. A wicked plan, actually, a criminal plan. But a very remunerative one indeed. This is why it is vital getting rid of free information: because free information is opposing such illegal actions with the power of the Law.

Paolo G. Parovel is the only journalist courageous enough to stand against this mafia-like system in the name of common good. So they want to silence him. Possibly forever. Because as long as a free newspaper stands, as long as an uncontrollable fourth power exists, and stands for law and justice, the Free State of Trieste won’t fall to the mafias.
