After Free Trieste’s demonstration in Vienna and after the Notice of Default to the Italian Government, the local system of corruption couldn’t remain silent.
June 18th, 2013: the citizens of Trieste put the Italian Government in default under accusation of breaching the 1954 MoU regarding the Free Territory.
UPDATE: August 2015. The trial described in this post has since ended. The appellant was convicted with a political decision.
The legal grounds of the appeal to the TAR FVG is the lack of Italian sovereignty over the present-day Free Territory of Trieste (FTT).
The NO ELECTION DAY campaign proved successful. Free Trieste does not run for elections, and it does not endorse national or local parties and candidates.
